Tulum is located on Mexico’s Carribean coast, which means it’s filled with beautiful white sand beaches as well as jungles to explore. If it’s not yet on your must visit list, it should be.
Tulum is still growing in popularity, but it’s a major favorite of those in “the know,” like celebs and travel bloggers. Not that they know it all, but they certainly do know how to find some beautiful locations.
Since Tulum is still growing it’s way more tranquil than a lot of other popular cities in Mexico, and the many sustainable hotels in the area helps to protect that vibe to a certain extent.
Tulum has great food, great beaches, nearby ruins, and has the Aktun Chen Parque Natural which has been rated by National Geographic as one of the top ten underground walks in the world.
The bars in Tulum are awesome as well. One of which, the Ahau Tulum, was set up by the people who created Burning Man.
