A study done by the price comparison site HotelsCombined found that 22 percent of business travelers like to be recognized at hotels that they frequent. This means that hotels that make that effort might be more likely to see repeat customers.
As many as 48 percent of business travelers like staying in the same hotel over and over again. Chris Rivett of HotelsCombined released a statement about business travel habits.
“Business travelers are travelers with strong habits and often turn into repeat customers for a hotel if the traveler has a positive experience. Their focus is on business while they’re away from home, but it’s important that the hotel acts as a bridge between home and the office.”
Things a traveler might expect is the hotel keeping track of their favorite room and remembering their name. Chris added:
“Given businessmen and women are on the road so frequently their business is extremely important to hotels. Because of this, we see many hotels going the extra mile to ensure business travelers are treated well from the moment they check in to the moment they leave.”
