MGM and Caesars have now raised their resort fees at their Las Vegas hotels. The price increase went into effect March 1.
Caesars Palace, Paris, and Rio will now see an increase from $34.01 to $39.68 per night on their resort fees. A spokesperson for the company shared that:
“We are implementing resort fee increases at our Las Vegas resorts, having added premium wifi service to covered amenities, bringing those fees in line with the competition.”
There’s an even higher jump at MGM Grand, Bellagio, and Mandalay Bay, where the increase will go from $30.61 and $44.22 per night.
There is a citywide tax increase on all hotel rooms which was enacted to help fund the building of an NFL stadium, as well as expand the Las Vegas Convention Center. The latter is expected to cost $1.4 billion.
