The navigation company TomTom has launched a website where people can access maps and information about less used trails in National Parks. The work was done in part with the National Parks Service.
Some of the parks where unique trails have already been listed include Saguaro National Park in Arizona, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in Colorado, and Crater Lake National Park in Oregon.
Jocelyn Vigreux, the president of TomTom explained that this will be a long-term project that will continue to grow as it goes.
“TomTom wants people to get going and enjoy the outdoors, as there is so much natural beauty and so many national parks and trails that are ready to be explored.”
