Many hotels include meditation as a part of their health and wellness programs, but a few of those hotels have started to introduce meditation programs for children as well.
For example, the Resort at Squaw Creek in California offers a Kids Chillax Spa where kids can learn some stretching techniques, do some deep breathing exercises, and even get aromatherapy treatments.
The Jumby Bay resort in Antigua regularly offers free meditation classes for children at its Fitness Pavilion, which are specifically targeted at kids who’ve been out all day having fun in the sun.
At the many Great Wolf Lodge locations, they offer a “Yoga Tails” program which teaches kids some basic yoga poses.
The Fairmont Miramar and Hotel in Santa Monica now offer “chill” yoga and meditation classes for the guests who are children as well.
These options offer a way for kids to find some peace while they’re on vacation and hopefully retain some of what they learned when they head home as well.
