People don’t seem to love flying in the middle seat, but it’s not a totally thankless option anymore. The Shore Hotel in Santa Monica is now offering guests a free room upgrade if they happened to get stuck in the middle seat on the way there.
The hotel’s general manager Gerry Peck released a statement about the offer.
“Given our beachfront location in Santa Monica, we are uniquely positioned to make our guests more comfortable upon arrival by providing them with a view that is infinitely more enjoyable than what they experienced on their flight.”
To get the upgrade, guests just have to show proof of their middle seat experience on their flight to LAX and they’ll be given a better room upon arrival.
