Ryanair is an extremely cheap and lenient airline, but since that’s the case they feel like people are subtly taking advantage of them.
The airline’s chief financial officer Neil Sorahan spoke out about it and explained that people have been bringing more baggage along for free then they should be
“We’re becoming victims of our own niceness.”
Robin Kiely, Ryanair’s head of communications spoke out the issue as well.
“We’ve noticed some customers are bringing larger-than-permitted bags onboard, which can cause delays. The policy may be reviewed should this practice continue.”
Ryanair is known for their incredibly low flight prices, such as flights for around $10.70 between locations in Europe.
