Following the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s electronics ban for flights from ten middle eastern countries an airline called Etihad Airways has started offering loaner iPads and free wi-fi on their flights.
Both first and business class passengers will be able to take advantage of the loaner electronics come April 2. They also offer USB sockets at each seat.
Emirates Airline and Turkish Airlines are two other airlines that have been affected by the ban, and are allowing their passengers to check electronics at the gate so that they can still use them while they’re waiting to board the plane.
