Last week is was reported that Airbnb would be housing people who needed help after being affected by Trump’s travel ban, and on Sunday’s Super Bowl they made their message even stronger.
The brand had a Super Bowl commercial that showed a variety of diverse faces and the message that “We believe no matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love or who you worship, we all belong; the world is more beautiful the more you accept.”
Their campaign was hashtagged #weaccept. The We Accept campaign is a part of Airbnb’s commitment to offer temporary housing to 100,000 people over the next five years. Those they are intending to help include refugees, disaster survivors, and relief workers.
They are also donating $4 million to the International Rescue Committee.
