Qatar Airways has broken a flight time record on a flight between Doha and Auckland. The flight was scheduled for 16 hours and 20 minutes, which they ended up making in just over 16 hours.
The airline tweeted information about what they’re calling the longest flight.

They’re also poised to beat their own record with an even longer return flight of 17 hours and 30 minutes.
Air India is another airline that claims the “longest” flight but by distance. Their non-stop flight from Delhi to San Francisco covers 9,506 miles. In 2018 Singapore Airlines will be launching a non-stop flight to New York City that is expected to take a whopping 19 hours.
