Okay, America, it’s getting a little embarrassing. We consider ourselves one of the world’s most enlightened nations and yet whenever someone brings up climate change, a shameful number of Americans shake their heads and mutter something about a “liberal conspiracy”. What the endgame of that conspiracy is supposed to be remains a mystery. What’s not a mystery, however, is the growing number of reputable scientists and government leaders who consider climate change a very real threat. In fact, in a poll of more than 40 nations, 54 percent of the respondents believe that climate change is very serious problem. Yet half of Americans simply refuse to believe that climate change exists. If you count yourself among the deniers, perhaps these before and after pictures will do the job.
