Hilton has made some changes to their loyalty program. The new Hilton Honors (previously Hilton Hhonors) will allow for members to combine money and points when they are booking their stays with no blackout dates.
Additionally, the program will offer user the option to pool their points with up to ten other people. They’ve also become the first hotel to pair with Amazon’s Shop With Points, meaning that the Honors points can also be used for shopping on Amazon.
The new version of the program will launch in February. The Hilton’s senior vice president and global head of loyalty and partnerships Mark Weinstein spoke out about the changes.
“It’s an industry first to use a slider tool on the site. It offers frequent travelers a way to use their points more quickly.”
