Video: This Truck Transforms Into A Spacious House!

A collapsible house that automatically folds itself onto a truck. It’s a modular home-transformer on wheels from the company Dahir Insaat. Russian engineer, Dahir Semenov, invented it and he believes the house on wheels is a solution to the housing crisis and insists the buildings come with all modcons. The houses can be one or two storeys and fold neatly up to be driven away. Dahir Insaat intends to produce houses that appear just like the average home, but are capable of neatly folding up into a truck that can be driven away. The invention of these automated buildings is intended for seasonal dwellings as well as offices, tourist centres and warehouses. A single story version is 1,500 square feet, while the two storey option is 2,690 square feet. The wooden walls are 15cm thick and reinforced with steel plates. The building is equipped with an autonomous diesel generator and is fitted with hook-ups for electricity, plumbing and water. Have you ever seen anything like this before? One minute you’re cooking in the kitchen and the next minute you’re driving down the freeway.
