We’ve all experienced the low end of cheap commercial flights, so let’s see now what it’s like to travel in the world’s most luxurious cabins!
1. Japan Airlines
The interiors in first class aboard the Sky Suite 777 are Woodgrain and are separated from the rest of the plane. The private suite turns into a bed with a 23-inch LCD monitor. There is plenty of space for your luggage and even a power socket to charge your devices. A round trip will cost a meagre $2,300.
2. Qatar Airways
For $5,000 you will be able to recline into a flat bed with a duvet. You can also enjoy a sky lounge with a curved bar and bar snacks. Sounds cheap, right? Well, are a few other surprises this airline is holding back just to surprise you.
3. British Airways
On this famous airline’s 787-9 Dreamliner, we can enjoy a 23-inch display in the seat console. Plus two USB ports to connect anything you bring with you, and a personal locker with a mirror for last minute touch-ups. Very comfortable and nice however a one-way ticket from London to New Delhi will cost you $5,000, so… yeah…
4. Thai Airways
Here, first class comes with private pods with a minimum width of 21 inches and flat screen TVs. A one-way ticket can cost you around $6,000. So basically you are paying a lot for privacy and nice services to help you have a relaxed flight.
5. Emirates Airways
There’s a mini bar just for you so that you won’t have to call the flight attendant all the time. Also, the bathroom has a selection of Bvlgari toiletries and Timeless Spa products. However a one way ticket will cost you $9,000. Although you could try and drink your money’s worth out of the mini bar?
6. AirFrance
There’s a private suite waiting for you where your seat can turn into a bed and you can watch tv or read. Of course, with extra storage areas and a personal coat service. However a one way ticket will cost you $10,000. Ouch!
7. Qantas Airlines
Extra privacy? You got it, reclining chairs? Check. That’s standard! You’ll also be treated to eye cream and pijamas. But the best bit of this company’s first class ticket is that they offer you a lounge spa before your flight, so you can travel rested. Of course, for $15,000 per ticket…
8. Singapore Airlines
Here, the beds are 35 inches wide and 82 inches long on select aircrafts and they always have an additional mattress topper to make them extra comfy. And, of course they also have wide seats and a your own private suite. All this for just $18,400 per round trip. Isn’t that nice?
9. Cathay Pacific Airways
Well, this is one of the most expensive first class cabins on the list, a round trip ticket can cost you $28,000. Here they will offer you a pod that can turn into a bed, plus a personal TV, your own pijamas, and a LCD touchscreen that lets you control the lights. All for the price of a new car…
10. Etihad Airways
This company has several luxurious flight options. The most luxurious has to be the “Apartment” where you will experience an armchair, bed, and personal shower, and of course the bathroom comes with toiletries and bathrobes. However, all of these amenities will cost you $30,000 per one-way ticket.
