WOW Air will soon start serving JFK airport in New York City, which means that there will be a bunch of new routes to Europe for cheap prices. Some of the first rates include flights from JFK to Paris, Amsterdam, London Stansted, Frankfurt, Dublin, Copenhagen, and Berlin…for only $99 each way.
The services are scheduled to start running on April 28, 2018. The flights stopover in Reykjavik, Iceland, but for people who have interest in going to Iceland that might be seen as a bonus in the deal.
This deal is extending beyond just the New York flights too. Other cities like Boston, Miami, Newark, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh can also snag some $99 deas to European destinations like Paris, Amsterdam, London, Brussels, Dublin, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, and Stockholm.
Since WOW Air is so cheap it’s not surprising that there are some extra fees to look out for. As a reminder, WOW charges extra for checked bags, seat assignment, and meals on the flight. But they sound pretty enthusiastic about the new routes.
Skúli Mogensen, the founder and CEO of WOW air, released a statement about the decision.
“We are excited to offer more East Coast passengers access to high-value and low fares through our new partnership with John F. Kennedy International Airport. WOW air’s young fleet continues to service U.S. consumers at a reasonable price to make travel available to even more people.”
