There are many whisky bars in the world but there is only one tallest outdoor whisky bar. It happens to be located in Bangkok. The Alfresco 64 — A Chivas Bar is 800 feet off the ground at the top of the buildings 64th story.
The height from up there offers stunning views and offers a more intimate vibe than many other tall bars in the area that draw a lot of tourists. The location has a wide variety of whisky, including the Royal Salute 62 Gun Salute, which costs $550 per serving.
They also offer the Chivas Regal “Lebua blend,” which was only ever produced in 96 bottles. Each costs $6,000. The bar does only serve whisky, but they have plenty of mixed drinks for those who don’t drink it straight.
Deepak Ohri, the CEO of Lebua hotels spoke out about the bar.
“We always want to do things where we change people’s perceptions. Whisky was a serious pastime and we wanted to bring fun into the experience and create a lifestyle and we are lucky to have brought this aspiration to life with our partnership with Chivas brothers.”
