Many of the National Parks in the U.S. are currently undergoing massive wildflower blooms which are quite a sight to see. Here are some of the parks that are currently suggested by Recreation.gov.
Saguaro National Park, Arizona
Saguaro Nation Park is a great place to see cactus blossoms between May and July. The blossom also happens to be the state flower of Arizona.
Carrizo Plain National Monument, California
The Carrizo Plain is located a few hours from Los Angeles in the central valley. The park has a wide variety of flowers that should continue blooming until the end of April.
Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina
The Pisgah National Forest has wildflowers blooming amidst the trees from March to late April and then again from July to September.
Shenandoah National Park, Virginia
Many people choose to stop over at Shenandoah National Park after seeing the cherry blossoms in D.C. The park has over 850 flowering plants that bloom from March until the end of the summer season.
