Universal Studios Hollywood is continuing to get more and more popular, and on Monday the park hit capacity for the first time and had to start turning people away. Experts have estimated that somewhere around 40,000 people were in the park that day.
Since 2014 Universal Studios has invested $1.6 billion in new attractions such as the brand new “Fast and Furious: Supercharged” ride, an expansion to the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” and a “The Walking Dead” maze.
Disneyland was another park that hit capacity this week, and had to turn away customers on Wednesday. The holiday season tends to be busy for all of the parks on account of people being off work and school and able to travel.
