The U.K. will be welcoming a large new theme park in the Dartford borough of Kent, England. London Resort Company Holdings is behind the $4.2 billion design that they suspect would rival the popularity of Disneyland.
The park will be 872-acres upon completion, but there is not yet an exact opening date. Paramount Pictures was supposed to be involved in the project but pulled out this year. LRCH CEO Humphrey Percy said the park is still in the process of becoming a reality by 2023.
“We are working closely with the local authorities, landowners and local community, as well as our other stakeholders, and we very much look forward to showing our plans to the public as part of our final stage of consultation prior to submitting later this year.”
