The U.S. Department of Security has introduced new rules about flying with devices from certain countries. Passengers coming from ten different Middle Eastern and North African airports are no longer allowed to carry on any devices that are larger than a cell phone.
Items like cameras, iPads, computers, and DVD players must be checked in baggage as opposed to carried on the plane.
The rule was reportedly put into place after proof was found that terrorists were planning to bring bombs into the country inside common electronics.
The airports affected include Royal Jordanian, Egypt Air, Turkish Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Kuwait Airways, Royal Air Maroc, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Etihad Airways.
