The Trump Organization has announced the launch of a new hotel brand. The new company is called American Idea, and the organization has explained that the budget hotels are “a concept rooted in local history and neighborly service.”
The hotels will fall into the three-star range and were inspired by the Trump family’s travels across the U.S. during the presidential campaign. The smaller towns provided style and decor inspiration such as vintage Coke machines.
American Idea will have its first locations in the Mississippi Delta area, Cleveland, Clarksdale, and Greenville. Then they will continue on to other small and mid-sized towns across the country. The hotels will be located in retrofitted Comfort Inns or Holiday Inns so they should be open with just seven months or so.
The Trump Organization first filed a trademark for the “American Idea” name in April of 2016.
