The first Trump hotel in Washington D.C. has been met with a lot of resistance, but now the brand is considering building a second location in the city.
There are a few different properties in one area of the city that they are considering converting into a single Scion hotel. Scion is the new name of the direction that the Trump brand is heading in an attempt to somewhat redefine the name.
The Trump Hotels CEO Eric Danziger has already confirmed that the company has plans to develop in Cincinnati, Dallas, Nashville, and New York.
The Trump company has already been hit with lawsuits alleging that the name association is not fair to other brands in the area. D.C. Cork wine bar is one company that is trying to sue.
