Many people are familiar with the trip planner company TripIt, and now the pro version has added a bonus feature. The app will now include a Go Now option that tells you when a good time to head out to the airport might be.
Jen Moyse, the director of product at TripIt explained.
“Even for the most seasoned travelers, finding the right time to leave for the airport can be tricky, especially in an unfamiliar city. Leave too late, and you end up scrambling to catch your flight. Leave too early, and you’re stuck in the airport for longer than you need to be. Add in a flight delay or cancellation, and suddenly your day is ruined. With Go Now, we’ll take all of that into consideration, so you don’t have to.”
The feature takes into account current location, flight status, and even traffic conditions.
