TripAdvisor is adding a Facebook bot that should make deciding between locations even easier. The bot will allow users to look at recommendations for hotels, flights, attractions, and restaurants.
A blog post for the company explained the concept.
“Let’s say you’re in New York City and craving sushi. No problem – just log on to Facebook Messenger and simply send the TripAdvisor bot a message asking for sushi restaurants nearby your current location. If you are in the West Village, for example, the bot might recommend Morimoto, Blue Ribbon Sushi or Sushi Samba.”
The feature will also allow people to collaborate on plans, and the bot will work better and better as more and more people ask it questions and take part in the conversation.
