A travel survey by Travel Leaders Group about the satisfaction with airport security pinpointed the number on thing that travelers don’t like about the process. They determined that it was having to remove their shoes.
Following the shoe thing came having to allow a pat-down, and having to deal with rules about limited liquids.
The Travel Leaders Group CEO Ninan Chacko released a statement offering a solution.
“Based on our newly released survey data, increasing TSA checkpoint personnel and encouraging more travelers to enroll in TSA PreCheck or Global Entry have had the desired impact.”
In the past year the enrollment in those sorts of programs has gone up. Overall the survey found that around 70 percent of people are “satisfied” with airport security in general.
