According to a recent study by AARP, the majority of people have a bucket list. They found that 74 percent of millennials have one, as well as 58 percent of Generation Xers, and 46 percent of boomers.
They also found that travel was high on everyone’s list.
“Almost half of all Bucket List Trips are focused on the destination overall, versus a specific activity or attraction at the destination.”
They found that domestically the number one travel destination was Hawaii, followed by Alaska, California, Arizona, Nevada, and New York.
Another recent study found that Hawaii is considered the happiest of all the states. Gallup determined Hawaii as the winner of this study based on a “well-being score” based on social lives, finances, community, motivation, and physicality.
