Stroller theft seems to be on the rise at theme parks. A recent incident occured at Disney World in Florida when a woman named Michelle Craig was caught on camera stealing a stroller.
The stroller was a high-end version by a company called Bugaboo which alone was worth $1,800. The stroller also owner Lauren Collazo’s car keys and wallet which left her stranded at the park. Her husband had to fly there from Miami to help them out.
An arrest warrant was put out for the suspected thief who then turned herself in for the incident. She is now being investigated for other stroller thefts. Michelle was reportedly stealing the strollers to resell them, which is how Lauren’s stroller was recovered. A woman purchased the stroller and saw that it still had names tags on it.
