Seattle’s Space Needle is getting a makeover. The building will soon feature a glass bottom dining room which will offer views 500 feet off the ground.
The room will also have a viewing platform with glass benches. In addition to the glass floor makeover, the building is also getting some upgrades in the forms of doors and stairways to make getting around a bit easier.
The idea is to modernize the building a bit and increase interest. It’s likely the glass floors will do their part to draw in the picture taking crowd. The outside of the building, on the other hand, will not be changing as dramatically. Even more of a reason to head inside and hop in the elevator.
