Sandals Resort will be acquiring the Saint Lucia Golf Club, which is considered one of the best golf spots in the area. Officials for Sandals call it “one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the Caribbean.”
The golf course spans 6,829 yards and 71 holes. The SRI chairman Gordon Stewart called the course “a beauty and the only game in town. We are thrilled to bring this gorgeous course into our growing Saint Lucian family of offerings and to share it with the people of Saint Lucia and our guests alike.”
Joining the properties together will include a new name change for the property, Sandals St. Lucia Golf & Country Club at Cap Estate. They will be adding in new restaurants as well as renovated meeting centers.
Sandals Resort International already recently announced that they will be building Sandals LaSource in 2017, the fourth of the Sandals properties.
