If you’re going to the Swiss Alps you might as well do it up right. Richard Branson‘s ski chalet The Lodge in Verbier seems like just the ticket.
The Lodge offers nine en-suite bedrooms, seven suites, and two master suites. It’s located close enough to the ski slopes that guests can ski right back to the lodge when they are done for the day.
There’s an on site gear room for storing the ski gear, and the chalet staff will also prepare for a visit by stocking up the correct size ski equipment for each visitor. However, the chalet is also popular during the summer. Paragliding, rock climbing, yoga, mountain biking, and hiking are also available activities when skiing isn’t on the table. Dining at the chalet utilizes local ingredients prepared by Michelin-star trained chefs.
Richard Branson released a statement about opening the location ten years ago.
“From the moment I saw it, I knew this beautiful chalet in the Swiss Alps was destined to become my favorite mountain hideaway. I chose Verbier because it’s an amazing year-round destination and offers world-class skiing, fabulous après-ski, and everything you could wish for in a summer escape.”
