There is a new river cruise in Paris that is targeted directly at the millennial traveler. U By Uniworld’s new river cruise experience offers things wi-fi, brunch, and even a silent disco.
River cruises tend to be a pretty intimate experience, and for a while, they trended with the older crowds. Lately members of the Gen Y/Millennial generations have been showing more interest in the travel trend.
Uniworld recently did a trial run of their Paris river cruise, which will launch to the public in April of 2018. The cruise included land activities such as rooftop expeditions, a tour of the catacombs, and seeing the Eiffel Tower at night.
The new boat has 61 rooms and is designed head to toe in a way that is thought to be appealing to the younger demographic. Photographs of celebrities line the hallways of the boat, and all of the rooms are equipped with the tools needed to stay connected while floating down the river.
