Pablo Escobar’s house in Tulum was recently purchased and will now be available for vacation rentals. An art dealer named Lio Lamca has been trying to acquire the property for years, and now has successfully turned it into “Casa Malca.”
“I purchased the property because I thought it was insane. I could not believe that in this world, a property like this still exists and hasn’t been taken over by a corporation.”
The 24-room home is now full of art from Lio’s peronal collection, as well as tons of swings, hammocks, and couches for lots of comfortable places to hang out.
The hotel offers locally sources food a hidden underground steam room, pool, and rooftop deck.
