New York’s Moxy Hotel is opening in Times Square as a direct competition to Airbnb users in the area. They are intending to be easily accessible to tourists, and so much so that they are offering “crashpad rooms” for people who simply need to crash after a night out.
The crashpad rooms will run $99 and give access to a 120-square foot that serves the sole purpose of crashing. The hotel will also offer normal rooms with awesome accommodations, including pet-friendly options and games.
In addition to being centrally located in Times Square, the hotel will also offer the largest indoor/outdoor rooftop bar in the city. That bar not only serves drinks, but it also has an “urban amusement park” where guests can dance to the DJ’s jams, play mini golf, or ride the carousel.
