New York will be getting its very own Legoland come 2020. The 170-acre park will be located in Goshen, Orange County, which is about 60 miles outside of NYC.
The park will also be a resort and the hotel will have 250 rooms. The park itself will have over 50 different rides and attractions. Those attractions will include a lego driving school and a 4-D lego movie theater.
Being in New York, the park will also have some Lego replicas of popular sites in the city. People who lives locally and students will be able to get entry discounts all the time, and the park will actually offer educational programs in topics such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
The state of New York is donating $18 million to the project. Some of that money will go towards making travel to the area a more seamless experience.
