New York will get a pop-up Cheetos restaurant that uses the snack food in fancy Cheeto-infused recipes. The Spotted Cheeta is coming together out a partnership between Frito-Lay and celebrity chef Anne Burrell.
The Tribeca pop-up will only be available for three days, from August 15 to 17. The menu will include items such as Cheetos meatballs, fried green tomatoes beaded in Cheetos, tacos topped with Cheetos, and Cheetos Sweetos-crusted cheesecake.
The reservations have already all been booked through Open Table, but it is still possible to get on the waiting list in hopes of taking the spot of a cancellation. Meals at The Spotted Cheeta will range between $8 and $22.
