Nassau’s Paradise Island is back opening following Hurricane Irma. The island was not disturbed in the hurricane and now the Lynden Pindling International Airport is back open so their business has resumed.
Hotels in the area that have returned to normal include Atlantis, Baha Mar Resort and Casino, Bay View Suites Paradise Island, British Colonial Hilton, Comfort Suites Paradise Island, Graycliff Hotel, Marley Resort and Spa, Meliá Nassau Beach – All Inclusive, One&Only Ocean Club, Paradise Harbour Club & Marina, Paradise Island Beach Club, Sandals Royal Bahamian, Sunrise Beach Club & Villas, and Warwick Paradise Island.
Travelers are still encouraged to check with individual hotels and airlines before booking to ensure that everything is functioning and running as expected.
