Milan has recently put into place some new bans on activities. Those activities include using selfie sticks, food trucks, and selling alcohol in glass bottles.
Both locals and tourists are forbidden from “holding, carrying, leaving on the ground, disposing of, or receiving any kind of glass bottles or containers, cans, and selfie sticks.”
The city seems to be making an effort to clean up their act.
Rome has already introduced similar rules, such as not allowing people to eat or drink close to fountains. A ticket for doing so could cost a tourist around $275. They also introduced new rules about selling alcohol at night. Now alcohol is newly banned between the hours of 12 AM and 7 AM.
