Miami Beach is reportedly back in business following Hurricane Irma. On Friday the mayor lifted the curfew that had been in place which allowed business to reopen for their normal business hours.
“It is my pleasure to bring you good news. Miami Beach’s curfew has been lifted. After a citywide effort to quickly bring the city back to normalcy, we are making incredible progress.”
Peggy Benua, the chair of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority and general manager of Dream South Beach expressed their gratitude over how things went.
“We are so thankful that Miami Beach weathered the storm well. The city has taken all necessary precautions and diligently made preparations in order to welcome back our beloved locals and tourists from around the globe. Miami Beach’s key destinations have reopened and look forward to delivering on the five-star service visitors expect.”
Not everything in Miami is open as usual, but luckily many are. The city is undoubtedly looking forward to the return to business.
