Mexico’s Secretariat of Tourism has shared their plans for putting a new tourism policy into effect that will be ready for the year 2040.
The concept is a collaboration with the Tourism Commission of the National Conference of Governors and intends to become more knowledgeable about where to take the industry next.
Mexico’s Tourism Secretary Enrique de la Madrid Cordero spoke out about the idea.
“It is in our hands to have a better country, through consolidating tourism, an activity so important, generous, intensive in people and integrative, so useful to avoid isolation in the world, against some who have isolationist tendencies and who have not warned that the world has changed from the interrelation of nations.”
