Mel Gibson’s Costa Rican home is on sale for around $30 million. The 403-acre estate is located in the Nicoya Peninsula. He stumbled upon the property while location scouting for his film Apocalypto and felt like he just had to have it.
The estate has three different homes on the same property, with tons of lush trees between them. Each of the homes has their own swimming pools and is made from Costa Rican wood with Spanish and Italian tiles.
The main house called Casa Guanacaste has seven bedrooms and is located right on the beach. The proximity to the jungle gives all of the homes potential close contact to many interesting animals in the area.
