Marriott is planning a pop-up at Coachella where they will turn eight of the festival’s safari tents into Marriott-branded hotel rooms.
Jennifer Utz Ilecki, the vice president of buzz marketing and global partnerships at Marriott spoke out about the plan.
“Marriott’s partnership with Coachella further demonstrates our commitment to music. We’re excited about bringing yet another ‘industry first’ to our loyal members, festival attendees, and those who share our love of music.”
Each one of the tents will have a slightly different look based on the different brands that Marriott owns.
The pop-up tents will be available the second weekend of the festival, which will take place April 20-23, 2017.
