The Iceland based airline carrier WOW Air is a low cost one, which has attracted a lot of attention for offering $99 flights to Iceland. Now they have added Ireland into the mix.
The flights to Ireland will be available from New York City, Baltimore, Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. They will be offered four days a week, at the low cost of $159.99 each way.
The flights will take passengers to the city of Cork, which WOW Air CEO Skúli Mogensen, promises is a good time.
“Although it’s a lesser known tourist destination, customers are in for a treat.”
Cork started as an island and now is connected to the mainland by bridges over the River Lee. It’s a very walkable city, and doing so is one of the best ways to explore what it has to offer. In the sixth century the island was founded, and it became a monastic settlement as well as a trade center. At one point in time the entire city was walled, and some of the gates still remain.
WOW Air also offers a stopover program, meaning that you can stop in Iceland on the way to Ireland if you want, for as many days as you want.
The Ireland flights will be in service starting June 2017.
