London has opened the world’s biggest Lego store after thousands of building hours. The store is the largest out of 131 stores around the world at 9,800 square feet, and the structures that they created to fill it with do not disappoint.
At the front of the store there is a Lego Shakespeare in a lifesize carriage that took 637,903 bricks and 3,399 hours to build. There is a Big Ben replica that took 200,000 bricks to create, and it not only lights up at night but it has a working clock face as well.
The life sized London Underground train car made up of a 637,903 bricks, and took 3,399 to build. It was made through a partnership with Transport for London.
One thing that the store has that is unique to the store is a system called “Mosaic Portraits,” where guests can have their photo taken in a special booth and then given instructions about how to create their own portrait using Lego blocks.
