A study from Zipjet has announced the least stressful cities in the world and found that Stuttgart, Germany came in first. They took into account things like lack of sunshine, unemployment rate, debt per capita, traffic, public transport, security, and pollution.
They found that Stuttgart rated very high with things like security, family purchase power, green space, and even gender equality. It didn’t rate super high with light or noise pollution, but its other high rankings were enough to keep it at the top.
Other top cities included Hannover, Germany; Bern, Switzerland; Munich, Germany; Bordeaux, France; Edinburgh, United Kingdom; Sydney, Australia; Graz, Austria, and Hamburg, Germany.
Only one U.S. city landed in the top 20. Seattle, Washington was listed as number 12, while Boston, Massachusetts came in at 36, and San Francisco, California came in at 40.
