Los Angeles International airport is launching a private VIP only terminal. The Private Suite will open May 15 and allow special travelers to avoid the general public. This means a private TSA check, private lounges, and even a ride to the plane in a BMW 7-Series sedan.
Upon arrival, the VIP members will have a staff of eight to take care of them, which includes escorting them to personal suites that have daybeds, bathrooms, and food pantries. Massages and hair and makeup services are also on the house.
This convenience also means less walking. While the average person will take 2,200 before boarding their plane, the VIP section will cut that down to about 70.
Curious about prices? The service will cost you $3,500 for domestic flights and $4,000 for international, but that covers up to four people traveling together. A yearly membership is required as well, which costs $7,500.
This is the first time that the U.S. has launched this type of option, but airports in places such as London, Munich, and Dubai have already put the concept into place.
