Korean Air made recent headlines after Daisy Fuentes and Karl Marx were involved in restraining a violent passenger on a recent flight. Daisy posted to her Instagram account suggesting that the airline was not fully prepared for such an incident.
“I feel horrible for the abuse the staff had to endure but no one was prepared for this. They never fully got control of him. They didn’t know how to use the taser and they didn’t know how to secure the rope around him.”
The airline has now announced that they will provide additional training for their staff and that there will always be at least one male staff member on board. They released a statement on the matter.
“Korean Air will react more firmly and actively against in-flight violence that threatens the overall safety of the flight. We have decided to improve our conditions and procedure on using Taser guns to cope with violent acts and disturbances on board in a fast and efficient manner.”
