The concept of an all-inclusive resort is a great one, but there are some things to keep in mind before you commit to one.
The obvious perk about an all-inclusive spot is that everything is included in one single price. That means that if you get a good deal on the resort you’ll feel like you’re eating and drinking for free, which you might be. There is a high convenience factor in the sense that you don’t need to carry around your wallet and the service is awesome. On the flip side if it’s very expensive it might end up costing you more than it would to feed yourself.
While it might be comfortable to check into an all-inclusive resort and chill out, the experience is generally a less authentic one than it would be if you chose a different location. That’s not necessarily better or worse, just different.
All inclusive resorts also tend to get very busy, and sometimes with families. This can make the place a little noisier and a little less romantic than some getaway spots.
