When you re-wear the same couple bathing suits all summer long it’s likely that they’ll start to take a beating. The sun, sand, and chlorine are all regular culprits for increasing the speed of wear and tear. Here are some tips for keeping your bathing suits in good condition no matter how much you’re wearing them.
Pre-Treat It
One of the best ways to avoid fading in a swimsuit is to pre-treat it. All you need is to soak it in four cups of water with two teaspoons of vinegar which will then prevent bleeding and fading.
Rinse It
Always be sure and rinse your bathing suit after you use it to make sure you get rid of chemicals or salt that can damage the fabric. Bring along some sort of mesh or breathable bag to carry your suit in post swim.
