JetBlue has announced their plans to open a new airport at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, which is expected to open in the year 2020.
The terminal will be located within the former Terminal 6, which JetBlue was located in the past. The airline moved in 2011 and it has since been an unused area.
It is still unknown how large the new terminal concept will become, but the concept behind it is to make it easier for the airline to deal with their current amount of passenger traffic. They would also be able to add new international gates and also help out with the traffic for other airlines.
The airline is currently looking for investors to move the project along.
