Japanese entrepreneurs recently announced their plans to build an animatronic dinosaur park called “Dino-A-Live.” Their intentions would be to create life sized animatronic dinosaurs based on bone fossils that have been found, and made with a carbon fiber that is frequently used for the construction of robots.
Kazuya Kanemaru, who is the CEO of On-ART, a company that creates giant balloons, has shares his plans to finance the project in 2017 and have it open within four to five years.
The concept of course, is reminiscent to the Jurassic Park concept, without the live dinos. This concept has been done in other ways before, but not on this level. Very soon the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia is planning to unveil an exhibit called the Jurassic World: The Exhibition, which will feature five animatronic dinosaurs as part of it.
The exhibit will run from November 25 to April 17 of 2017, before heading on as a national tour.
The Moab Park is Utah is another place where dinosaur fans can spend some time at least imagining that they’re roaming among the giant animals. The park was once inhabited by the creatures, and now it is home to a bunch of life sized replicas.
